Cheerleading

INFORMATION (FALL  2021)

You must have a VHSL Physical (dated after May 1, 2021) on file in the main office to participate in the following cheer events:

• Open gyms will be held in the ALMS main gym or outside on the ALMS soccer field on July 12th, 19th, and 26th from 6 PM to 8 PM. Open gyms are optional. Open gyms provide opportunities for prospective cheerleaders to learn chants, cheers, jumps, and tryout procedures.
• Tryouts will be August 2nd, 3rd, 4th, and 5th from 6 to 8 PM in the main gym at ALMS.
  

REQUIREMENTS

1. As mentioned above- You must have a VHSL Physical (dated after May 1, 2021) on file in the main office to participate in any of the above cheer activities. The physical form can be found on the athletics page of our school website, the VHSL website, or in the main office at ALMS.
2. Sign up for cheerleading.  This link is also available on the athletics page of the Andrew Lewis website. You must sign up at least one week before tryouts start. But, please sign up early.
